Very bad service, specially after we said that I didn’t wanted a shoe for running but more for long walks. It felt a very elitist service, specially when compared with the device for other locally people

I have had an extremely disappointing experience and thought it best to share this - the first time I am ever writing a poor review due to the way this situation made me feel. My intention coming into the store was to discuss an ongoing heel pain issue, with the desire to buy a pair of walking shoes based on the store experts’ advice. This was unfortunately not at all the case. Having just walked in, the only man in the shop stared at me with an almost disgusted look - without a word having been spoken thus far. I very politely asked if English is a possibility (with the desire to communicate in German via a translator app if not possible) and the only response I got was two words: ‘No, bye’. The disgusted/judgmental look never left his face and made me feel almost as if I was a lesser human being for a second. Having grown up in a non European country and migrated to the UK at 17, I am well versed with the nuances of racism that form part of daily life across the world. My intention, in no way, was to impose English on a German speaker, but to not misrepresent the local language by trying to converse in it whilst visiting Berlin, given my poor grasp of it. I’m a new runner and have been running with very generic trainers for a few months, which resulted in a few new pains. I came to this shop after a friend recommended it and I couldn’t be happier of the care and attention I’ve received from the staff. I have tried quite a few pairs and my running stride and sound was observed carefully while running on the sidewalk outside. I finally found a pair that felt just right and bought it without hesitation. Thank you so much for the patience and useful tips! I can only recommend coming here, especially when there is a big confusion about all the available models on the market.

Can’t recommend them enough! After 4 years I decided to get back into running and yesterday I went to the store, one of the staff members helped me choose the best running shoes, he was super professional, friendly and helpful, took all my information into consideration. I got my new shoes and today I went for a run, definitely a perfect choice to get back into it.

Absolutely great experience and service at this store and I got an amazing pair of new running shoes. I was in the shop late on Friday and the sales person in the shop was friendly, very professional and he clearly knew everything about running and running shoes. After a short discussion he immediately knew which shoes to recommend. He had answers to all my questions and gave some great advice. He also carefully checked that the shoes are the right fit. I will be buying my running shoes from this store in the future for sure.
