About Landeshauptstadt München
Landeshauptstadt München is a rathäuser in München, Bayern. It is listed at Marienplatz 8, 80331 München-Altstadt-Lehel, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
For public services in Bayern, confirm which office handles your matter and what to bring before you travel, since the Bürgeramt, the Ausländerbehörde and the Finanzamt deal with different paperwork. Stations and airports post timetables on site and in the DB Navigator app, and it is wise to allow extra time at the start of the school holidays and around Christmas, when the whole country is on the move.
Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9:30 am–7:30 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 23300. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is muenchen.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating stands at 2.8 out of 5 from 31 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The city of Munich has a beautiful clean city centre with a mix of historical and new buildings. How shear is the contrast when you set just one foot out of the centre, where it feels as if you find yourself in the lawless parts of the Middle East.. Unfortunately this is also where most of the hotels are located, our hotel being no exception. The hotel was outdated, filthy and unbearably hot in the summer. However, this is peanuts when you consider what is going on right outside your hotel room on the streets.. It felt as if a scene from The Purge was playing outside, causing us to have had zero minutes of sleep! Glas bottles being thrown around, people screaming, loud music being played at 3 am and cars racing in the streets.. It felt very unsafe at night and you feel as if you are the only ('native') European being present, who finds himself in the middle of Bagdad. Such a shame to see a city being so demolished and disrespected by a handful of people who lack any basic principles of decency and respect. I sincerely hope the German political system reconsiders if this is the best way forward. As you may have guessed by now, we will not be visiting Munich again anytime soon. Such

Very unhappy with their service. I have had to wait twice, every time for over one hour, the queues are long, it's always best to come as early as possible for a quicker service. The ladies who deal with registrations (at least the ones I had to deal with) were extremely rude and wouldn't provide clear instructions on what needed to be done in terms of paperwork and would become frustrated when asked for clarifications. Very annoyed with my experience.
