About Kupferkanne
Located at Steinmetzstraße 18, 10783 Berlin-Bezirk Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Kupferkanne operates as a bar serving Berlin in Berlin. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 10:00–04:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Kupferkanne on 030 2168923; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is kupferkanne.metro.bar, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 419 reviews, which is a strong result for a bar in Berlin and suggests consistent service.
Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Very disappointed. The service was slow and unfriendly. The coffee was not good and the place was not particularly clean. I thought the value for money was very bad. I would not return or recommend it.

I stumbled into this pub by chance, and the atmosphere is just incredible, it feels like stepping back into the 90s. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and helpful, smiling the whole time despite the rush. Normally it’s a quiet neighborhood pub, once you sit at the bar you don’t want to leave for hours. I had such a great time and will definitely be back. By the way, where did those amazing lamps come from? :)

This was a true neighborhood pub, the only issue was that there was a German game on and it was packed, not really an issue but a sight to see since it felt welcoming regardless. The beer they were serving was ridiculously good; we stayed for one drink but hopefully we can visit again soon.

Had a great time here, owner is friendly, crowd is relaxed, prices are reasonable! It is a kneipe/dive and smoking is allowed and frequent, just heads up✌🏽
