For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 5–11 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Really nice dinner and a great experience overall. We were lucky enough to get a table inside — the terrace looked beautiful too, but it was completely packed. We started with the tuna tartare, then shared two rolls: the spicy tuna and the “beef” roll with truffle, which was a particularly fun combination. We finished with the dry-aged bluefin tuna steak, which was excellent — beautifully cooked, tender and full of flavour. Definitely the highlight of the meal for me. The service was also excellent: attentive, professional and perfectly paced throughout the dinner. A very enjoyable evening. Recommended.

Michelin-star level quality. Incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. Even more incredible omakase experience - cuisine was not only ultra high quality and refined, but also creative and very, very smart in how the built flavours. Not a single dish of the many I tasted was boring, everything was great. Cannot recommend more.

In terms of price/quality ratio I think this was one of the best seafood places I’ve visited in Munich. I’ve been looking for good otoro sashimi here for so long! And I can still see the scallop-egg dish in my dreams, really-really good. It’s not cheap but as a weekend treat this is an amazing place!

We went for the ramen and it did not disappoint. I'm not a vegetarian and was a bit concerned about the broth. However, this was a creamy sesame broth with just the right amount of spiciness. The dish is beautiful and delicate, with an egg that not only has been perfectly cooked but also marinated. The fake meat will have you wondering if this is really a vegetarian dish and the mushrooms add an extra touch of meatiness to the equation. Between the tomato, bok choy, corn, the nori, the noodles and all of the protein, you'll keep getting surprised by every bite. As if it wasn't enough, there's different sake options and the fruity flavors of my pick seemed to go perfectly with my ramen.

We chose this restaurant based on its reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It’s easily one of the best Japanese restaurants in Munich, especially if you’re looking for an impressive range of vegetarian options. We opted for the vegetarian set menu, which included six starters to share and three main courses. The server asked about our budget for the evening and thoughtfully curated the experience within it, including drinks, which we really appreciated. What followed was truly mind-blowing. Each dish had a distinct flavor, and the entire menu felt exceptionally well thought out. The mushrooms in black tea broth and the truffled fried rice were outstanding. We loved the creative use of vegetables in the fermented carrot appetizer, and the cashew cream ramen is something we cannot recommend enough. Corn ribs are also a must try! By the end, we were completely satisfied and happily full. Considering the quality and creativity, the prices were very reasonable. The service was another highlight of the evening. The server was friendly, prompt, and patient, and genuinely elevated the whole experience. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, and reservations are absolutely rec
