About Kleintierklinik der LMU München

Kleintierklinik der LMU München is a tierärzte in München, Bayern. It is listed at Veterinärstraße 13, 80539 München-Altstadt-Lehel, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 24 Stunden geöffnet. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 21802650. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is med.vetmed.uni-muenchen.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,230 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded tierärzte & tierkliniken in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

We had to visit the vet urgently during our vacation to Munich and the people here were quite helpful. They diagnosed and provided the file. The vet quite clearly mentioned the sensible manner to handle the issue on hand with our dog which might incur less cost to us. Appreciate their effort.

We went to the Kleintierklinik of the LMU with our cat, who had some nerve damage in the leg due to an accident and issues with walking. We therefore wanted to bring the cat to the physical therapy at LMU. The entire experience was just great: fast responses for appointment requests, almost no waiting time at each appointment, fair prices, very competent help and support which enabled the cat to walk again after 2 months!!! The team really took their time to listen and to make suggestions. After having much worse experiences with other animal physical therapy I can fully recommend the physical therapy at the Kleintierklinik LMU.

Had a great experience with the 24/7 emergency service, operation and post-op care for my cat after she swallowed a foreign object. Really friendly and caring staff and doctors. Most of them speak English, too. Eternally grateful to those who saved my baby’s life.

My dog had a severe heart emergency on a Sunday morning. The staff was able to take her immediately and stabilize her, then performed a procedure which saved her life. The bill was less than they had told me to expect. I could not possibly be more grateful to the staff at this clinic. Thank you so much.

Found a lost cat and brought him in here late around 10 in the evening. They took him in and fed him. The cat was chipped luckily. They called the owner and allowed the cat to stay overnight. Good service and great staff.
