München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

This self service hotel is 100% efficient and well thought out to ensure guests have a positive experience while all their needs are met. My room was super comfortable, well equipped with mini fridge and complimentary water, toiletries and coffee/tea. There is a self service wash/dry in the basement and the additional bonus: free self service storage!!!! Finally, this hotel is centrally located within walking distance from trains, tram, busses, restaurants even major tour companies and malls!!! I extended my stay in Munich, but unfortunately they were sold out. However, I would return to this hotel in a heart bit. 100% recommended. By the way, I don't understand the 4.3 rating. This hotel definitely deserves at least a 4.9.

Beware, kitchenette is NOT included. It's locked in the bedroom. It's an extra even if it's not clear on the website. Nice rooms. Good location. There was no room service for the full four days we were there. They offer a 10 euros voucher if one chooses not to have room service. We tried that twice and never got it as others have reported.

Comfortable room with good amenities. We had the room facing mainstreet (with tram line), but it was quiet in the room. There is no reception desk, and checking in is online on a tablet in the front section of the hotel where there's a device to code our key card. There is a small lobby connected to the cafe next door. The underground floor has washing machine and other things we need (coffee capsule, pillow, towel, etc.). If we bypass room cleaning, then we receive 10 euro voucher to drink in the King's Hotel which is across the road a few steps away.
