KFZ Winkelmann

KFZ Winkelmann is a kfz-werkstätten in Erlangen, Bayern. It is listed at Heusteg 3C, 91056 Erlangen-Dechsendorf, which places it among the local businesses of Erlangen that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Cars in Germany need the main inspection (Hauptuntersuchung, by TÜV or DEKRA) every two years, and a workshop that handles it for you is worth keeping in your contacts. Ask for an itemised estimate before work starts, check whether the price includes labour and VAT, and ask whether original or aftermarket parts are used. A Vertragswerkstatt costs more than an independent workshop but keeps the manufacturer's warranty intact, and winter tyres are required whenever conditions are wintry.

Opening hours are published for 1 day a week. The most common schedule is 10:00–18:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach KFZ Winkelmann on 09131 5319545; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, dasoertliche.de.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 47 reviews, which is a strong result for a kfz-werkstätten in Erlangen and suggests consistent service.

Erlangen is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
