Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0176 60014490. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 654 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded eisdielen & desserts in München.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We discovered Keep Bañana through the Munich Vegan Tour, and it was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing day! The homemade vegan ice cream was absolutely outstanding. We tried Stracciatella, Matcha, Coconut, and Salted Nut Caramel, and every single flavor was incredibly creamy, rich, and full of natural taste. It was honestly some of the best vegan ice cream we've ever had! The quality and craftsmanship really shine through, and it's impossible to leave without a smile. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Munich. A huge thank you to Keep Bañana and to the Munich Vegan Tour for introducing us to this fantastic place. Highly recommended – for vegans and non-vegans alike!

My friend got a piccolo gelato while I got an affogato. I thought they used Brazilian beans for mine (bcs that's the only espresso on the front shelf) but it tasted fruity instead of chocolatey-nutty, so I ran back to the cafe afterwards to ask. Shoutout to the baristas for putting up with my silliness & being so kind. Despite me struggling to speak in English/German, the baristas are so nice ☺️ will definitely recommend this place to anybody who's coming to Munich Affogato: MERCHANT & FRIENDS Ethiopia Sidama Washed omnirogst heirloom blend berry, dried fruit, dark choc

Vegan and no added sugar never tasted sooo good! Warm banana bread with coconut and matcha gelato with crispy coconut flakes!! Delicious 😋 The sitting area is small. Very friendly service.

I recently stopped by this charming little café in Munich and had such a lovely experience. The decaf oat cappuccino was excellent, perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. Even though I hadn’t planned on it, I couldn’t resist trying the vegan ice cream… and wow 😋 The stracciatella and chocolate flavors were absolutely delicious, creamy, rich, and surprisingly indulgent for vegan options. The cosy atmosphere makes it a wonderful place to relax, and the nice, friendly, and attentive staff truly add to the overall experience. You feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. Highly recommended!
