The first time I walked into the store, I was met with what seemed like "enthusiastic" service. When I mentioned I wanted to buy a watch, the salesperson asked me why I had come to this shop—why not go somewhere else? Then she handed me a form to fill out with my contact information and told me she would place an order for me. I asked how long I'd have to wait, and she replied: 15 years. Over the next ten minutes, she showed me her list of over eight thousand customers and countless pending orders, all begging her to sell them watches. After leaving, I went to Bucherer, where I easily purchased the watch and received patient, professional service. What I want to say is this: if you're only going to boast about your customer base and resources, then just tell people straight up that you don't sell watches.

Absolutely love the customer service at Wempe. Today we picked up my wife's birthday's gift after a few years on the wait-list for her first Rolex and our SA Mr. Gotschke really knew how to make the day special. Great conversations together as well because he's a true watch enthusist and very knowledgeable.

I visited Wempe with the hope of finding a meaningful watch to gift my fiancée on our wedding day. From the start, the team especially Mr. S. Lokstädt, made the experience thoughtful and memorable. With his guidance, I chose the Cartier Tank Must, which has become a cherished piece for her. It was the perfect choice, and she truly loves it. What stood out to me beyond the purchase was the welcoming atmosphere. The staff took time to have genuine, knowledgeable conversations that deepened my own interest in watches something I hadn’t experienced at other retailers. I appreciated being shown a variety of options across different brands, including Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre, which really helped me explore what suited us best. One standout moment was getting to try on a Rolex Daytona something I hadn’t had the opportunity to do anywhere else. That experience stayed with me and confirmed my interest in owning one someday. My wife passed by the window and liked the jewelry. She took a picture through the window and was approached by a hostile woman in the street demanding her to delete the picture. She said she had take a picture of my wife and was very rude. Claimed she worke for Wempe and ignored the fact the picture was taken out in the public.

I got Cartier Tank Must as a gift from my fiancé last October and I'm in love with the watch. The watch itself was perfect and Wempe has given a good quality travel pouch which is really good. I was told that the service at Wempe is beyond expectations and we want to especially thank Mr. Sven L for carefully and patiently attending to the needs. If we visit Nuremberg in the future, we will definitely pay a visit to Wempe again. Thanks for the amazing service.
