This is a traditional German bakery operated by Der Baker Scheckenbach and situated along Juliuspromenade in Wurzburg. They are open from 5.30am to 5.30pm (Mon to Fri), 5.30am to 1pm (Sat), closed on Sundays. There is a fairly large and nice indoor seating area, perfect for cold days. You can do take-away as well. You'll find a nice range of pastries, rolls, pretzels and other bread products. We stopped by here around 6am before heading out of Wurzburg recently. Pretzel and cinnamon and nut roll both tasted just fine, coffees served on the morning were good as well. Service was polite, prices what you expect for morning bakery visits. On the whole, perfect morning stop for those staying in area hotels or apartments seeking to depart Wurzburg early in the morning.

Tasty pastry and cake, although a bit expensive. It's lovely place to stop by and chat with friends when not too busy.

It was very early morning visit to this cute coffee house. We reached around 6am and the staffs were super busy in delivery order quickly and arranging the freshly baked breads. It's a place for all morning people who want to grab a quick bite

Their coffee is from full automatic machine and their chocolate croissant was actually just a choco brötchen. The price is really good though.
