Augsburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Anina's EMBODIMENT retreat offers a fusion of yoga practices and meditation to inspire the most authentic cultivation of body wisdom in a beautiful setting (of nature and people). Anina's retreat left me feeling assured that we have all the tools within ourselves to find grounding, balance and heartfelt compassion in any present moment. Thank you so much for everything, Anina, it was truly magical!

As I grew older, my routine became more restricted and I had to make changes in the activities I had relied on and enjoyed so much. I gave up membership in a nearby university pool after many years of weekly swimming we well as walking, hiking, and exercising regularly in classes and using specialized equipment and machines. My body felt stiff, inflexible, with weakened muscles and joints and poor posture and unsteady gait. So I started weekly private session with Anina to gain strength and flexibility and even confidence that these changes could break some old ineffective patterns which restricted ease of my motion. At the start of each lesson, she’ll patiently ask me how I am feeling, and with her skill and training, she’ll evaluate how I look and move, and then we’ll do some simple skin massages to get the blood circulating with her emphasis on deeper breathing as key to all motion. There is a structure she plans for each lesson, and builds up from one session to the next, from one isolated part of the body to another area, but if she see me stuck or unable to go forward, she finds another option, an alternative for me to move forward. Eventually, over time, and especi

For me, Anina is a true gem - both personally and professionally. Being a professional dancer all her life, she knows the body inside and out, which is so important for a fulfilling yoga practice. Her classes simply "flow", they are far from being just an asana packed class. She finds a great balance between practicing asanas you already know and learning new poses from scratch, meaning she will really get down to explaining the body parts, the breath, and everything that needs to be involved to get the utmost positive experience for your mind and body. Mind and body: Anina knows how to work with it. As others here have said: I sometimes feel like she knows whether the class is tired, stressed out or full of energy. And that's how she adjusts her class that day. Even down to a personal level she can sense what's right for just you that day. I also learned a lot about breathing techniques that help me with day to day life. To make a long story short: I started off with Anina's pregnancy yoga class many years ago and never stopped doing yoga since. She is one of a kind and practicing yoga with her is a gift.
