About Ibasho
Located at Landsberger Str. 68, 80339 München, Ibasho operates as a sushi serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 6 pm–3 am. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 452202768. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, ibashomunich.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 78 reviews, which is a strong result for a sushi in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The restaurant aims to offer fine dining, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Unprofessional waiters (it is not the excuse that you have opened several days ago): -don't know the menu, -how dishes are cooked, -not sure whether the cocktails they brought are alco or not, -put sizzling hot pans on the table with trembling hands, forget to exclude welcome drinks from the bill, -repeatedly asked me to confirm the payment amount, seemingly expecting me to include a tip. Prices are above average, but dishes don't worth them, either for size and quality (skewers, shrimp rolls, Wagu mit nudeln).

Amazing new Japanese concept restaurant located in The Dean Munich. Fresh, delicious and plenty of choice on the menu- the only problem will be narrowing down what to order. Great drink options, plenty of cocktails with sake, and friendly, attentive staff.
