München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Great bookstore. The only problem is that if you need a toilet while browsing, you must have coins to open the door and must buy something in the bookstore cafe.

Loved to find a nice selection of English books (of course there's room for improvement). Was happy to find Arundhati Roy's quasi-memoir there. Spent a birthday afternoon overlooking the Glockenspiel and reading

Upstairs, there's its own little sweet café, it's a two-story place where you can find lots of books, stationery, etc. There's an escalator. Since it's Christmas season, you can find lots of cards and similar gifts. There's even a dedicated area for games, with lots of board games available. The cash area also works quite fast, i didnt wait too much even when there was evening crowd

I like it here very much. There are many English children's books. When I first came to Munich, I looked for many bookstores, but I couldn't find them. So I like this bookstore. It's really big, with three floors. There are many children's books and small ornaments on the second floor. It's exquisite, but the price is relatively high.
