Berghof is a wonderful hotel that provides one of the best services I have had in the past. They try to make you as comfortable as possible and try to help you as good as possible. It was pleasant to be with them and if we are in the area again and need a hotel, definitely we will go back to hotel Berghof. The rooms are clean, it feels safe and it is in a quite area. Parking in front of the hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Berghof in late May of this year, and they were gladly able to accommodate us at late notice. The location is interesting, tucked at the back of a suburban neighborhood, with homes on one side and beautiful countryside to the other. The hotel and restaurant are a bit dated and the decor is very quaint and eclectic. This is the only reason I didn’t give them a 5/5 rating. The staff were extremely nice, and treated us like royalty! The attached restaurant had simple but delicious food and it appeared that there were many “regulars” who often dined there. The following morning we had to leave early to catch our flight home and Andy, one of the proprietors, made a point of having a full continental breakfast ready and waiting. We would most definitely stay there again!

We stopped here after unexpected car trouble whilst on route to Slovakia and the owner and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, our room was amazing and the food in the restaurant was incredible! Thank you guys so much for turning what had been a very stressful day in a lovely evening with great food and all the help in getting our car sorted we could have needed!!

The welcome was very warm even though we arrived quite late. The room was big the beds comfortable the bathroom very good and generally extremely clean. The restaurant was wonderful with great service and the best food we have experienced whilst travelling very reasonable prices and great local beer. We would strongly recommend this hotel and restaurant and hope to visit again. The manager offered us the key to his garage free as our car was loaded but we didn't need it as the area is very quiet and safe. Breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety and freshly cooked eggs. He even gave us tea and coffee for the road. Overall a wonderful experience extremely clean and lovely traditional place.

Gasthof Berghof is on the hill above our village. We have been going there for the last 30 years. The food has always been great. While they have a lovely menu with the usual German standards, their daily specials are always well worth a look. My dad for example had a leg of hare tonight that he says was amazing. They also have a few guestrooms for room and board, which can be nice for hikers. There are a few nice walking tours going through our village.
