I had a wonderful six-night stay at Hotel National Bamberg. Even though the weather was extremely hot during my visit, I really enjoyed my time here. My room had a beautiful view over the city, and watching the sunset from my window was one of the highlights of my stay. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, generous, and with a great variety every morning. As a vegetarian, I was especially impressed by the selection of fresh vegetables, fruit, and other delicious options. It's rare to find such a thoughtful breakfast buffet. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel has a warm, family-like atmosphere that made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I would happily stay here again and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Bamberg.

Wow, what an amazing find! Our family of four travelled to Bamberg to visit family and we were so happy with our stay at Hotel National. The location was perfect and our room was so comfortable. Everything was brand new in our two story quad room, and it was lovely. We watched the sun set from our balcony over beautiful homes. Even though it was convenient to the train station, we were surprised how peaceful and quiet it was. The breakfast had so many delicious options and it was such a nice atmosphere. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

We had quite positive experience in this hotel. Location is near the train station, which was very convenient for us as we arrived by train. All the staff is super friendly and happy to help, we had several issues where we had to ask for help and we were happily supported. We stayed in the apartment suite, the furniture is quite simple, but the room was clean and spacious. We didn’t like the mattresses and pillows though - way too soft to our taste. The view from the balcony was fantastic. Breakfasts are very plain, I would recommend trying other places for breakfast. Overall, good value for money.
