Berlin is in Brandenburg, in the east of the country, where Dresden, Leipzig and the smaller historic towns combine restored old centres with lower rents and prices than the west; the continental climate brings hot summers and cold, dry winters. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Very disappointing and misleading experience. We booked this hotel expecting a 3-star standard, but what we found was far below that. The room did not feel clean – there was dust on the bed linen/pillows, the mirror was dirty, and the whole property smelled old and moldy. The most concerning issue was safety. Our room door looked like it had previously been forced open or damaged, which made us feel very uncomfortable. There were cameras everywhere, and one seemed to face directly toward the room area, which felt invasive. Parking was also misleading. There was no proper private parking, and we were told to park for free at Aldi instead. Reception staff could barely communicate in English, and when we politely raised our concerns and asked for help, the owner/staff were rude and dismissive. Afterwards, we checked other Google reviews and realized many guests had similar negative experiences. Would not recommend. Booking.com should seriously review whether this property deserves a 3-star listing.

This property is located at the end of U-Bahn Line U5 (Hönow) in the suburb of Hoppegarten. The other end is Berlin’s central train station, so if you don’t mind the 45-minute ride, the location offers certain logistical advantages—as well as the auditory calm of a sleepy suburb. At the time of my visit (early October 2025), the cafeteria was closed—possibly undergoing renovation—so there was no onsite dining. Fortunately, this is compensated by the very close proximity of at least three grocery stores, including one with its own bakery/coffee counter. The rooms are fairly spacious and all located on the upper (third) floor of an otherwise nondescript building. The Wi-Fi was perfectly adequate for checking email and streaming my favorite Netflix series. I happened to be down with a nasty cold and fever, so that was the only form of entertainment I could manage. On that note, a basic amenity such as an electric kettle or coffee machine would have been extremely welcome. A workaround was negotiated with the front-desk staff—trilingual, helpful, and perhaps extra accommodating because we shared a mother tongue. They kindly allowed me to use their electric kettle in the reception are

⭐ One star – extremely poor service and lack of professionalism. During our stay at this hotel, we encountered several serious issues: 1. The reception staff were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. 2. Card payment was refused, under the excuse that the terminal was not working, and I was required to pay in cash instead. After payment, the issuance of a receipt was delayed, with various excuses being made. 3. There was no daily room cleaning, no change of towels, and no basic hygiene products provided (soap, shower gel, etc.). 4. The room was dusty and poorly maintained, and the bed was not made during the entire stay. 5. Upon check-out, the staff behaved in an aggressive and unfriendly manner when returning the room key. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel shows a complete lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and respect for guests. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this place.

The room smells terrible and I need to use spray to remove the smell. When we came in found a bug and killed it. Within 10 minutes, we found the pillow full of dust. The pillow covered with dust. We asked for vacuum to clean the room and rejected. The worker suspected me tht I purposely stained the dust on the pillow. It was ridiculous. We left the room at 1am as we couldn't stand the dust and insects in the room.

The rooms smelled old and where outdated, they didn't cleaned everyday. The "service" was horrible, only one girl was nice but the rest horrible staff. Specially an old lady. They didn't even replaced the toilet paper and didn't have shampoos and soap. NO BREAKFAST, even if in the internet said they had, far away from everything, tv only had basic channels and on top THE WIFI FAILED FREQUENTLY. Ahhh and they were expensive as hell.
