Salons, spas and fitness studios in Germany are best booked ahead, especially for evenings and Saturdays, and most now take bookings online or through WhatsApp as well as by phone. Agree the service and the price before you start, note that many salons close on Mondays, and tip 5-10% in cash if you are happy. Gyms usually ask for a 12- or 24-month contract, with the monthly rate falling the longer you sign up for, so read the cancellation clause.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0160 2822466. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, himapan.org.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 18 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded massage & day spas in Augsburg.

Augsburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am lucky that Himapan Thai Spa is next to where I live. After my delivery I was looking for someone who can do postpartum massages. Although this service is not included in their list of massages, when I asked about it, they were ready to offer me postpartum massage and also shared with me all the details that will be addressed during the massage. I took a 7 day massage and I must say that Nang’s hands have magic! I had lower back pain before delivery and after delivery the pain did not subside. She paid more attention to specific points to release tension and it worked! I had a great experience and I definitely recommend Himapan Thai Spa!
