Henri is a delightful and relaxing spot on the river in Bamberg. It’s perfect for both lunch and dinner with an excellent beer selection, delicious food, and desserts you won’t want to pass up. Our waitress spoke English and helped us with our menu choices. Great restaurant!

Finding a hair in my lobster spaghetti was unacceptable. What made it worse was the rude and arrogant attitude of the staff. The waiter even claimed that I had “already eaten most of it,” which was simply not true. I am attaching a photo of the dish before it was taken back: there were only 3 pieces of lobster in total, and 2 were still on the plate when I sent it back. Instead of replacing the dish, they only offered about a 20% discount sor something. I found that disrespectful and told them to remove the discount and charge me the full amount. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If hair in a meal is treated this casually, that says enough. Since I also got the impression that they might try to deny this incident in their reply, I am attaching a photo of the bill showing the discount they gave.

Lovely place, very chic and stylish, delicious food, great service. When the sun is shining and in the evening, it's better to make a reservation as it's a very popular restaurant, especially the sun terrace with a spectacular view of the Old Townhall.

I’ve being there few times, great selection of wine and cocktails, so the steak sides. Sitting outside is good in summer but the view is not the best, but who café when the food is great.

Had our last lunch meal here and it was excellent. Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. My rib-eye was delicious and the burgers were top drawer. Definitely a recommendation. Oh and the setting right on the river is soooo nice. And the best spritzers we had all week.
