A very nice little all vegan cafe! Went here twice for breakfast and lunch during a visit to Köln. All of the food we had was really great. The only issue is that our food was totally wrong for one take-out order. Everyone got a different sandwich than the one we ordered. We didn’t realize until it was too late and we did not have time to go back. The sandwiches were all still delicious! Just not what we ordered.

Lovely place, cosy and not too noisy. They offer a wide selection of sandwiches and drinks. The lavendel cappuccino was delicious. Their home made bacon was super tasty. The staff is so friendly! :-) Would definitely come again. Come early as the sandwiches are popular and might sell out fast.

Wonderful little vegan place the perfect spot for brunch. Wide choice of unique flavour combinations on croissant or panini and excellent cakes! The almond tahini slice is amazing.

Incredible vegan food! We were in Cologne for 3 days. Day 1 we visited for lunch, the croissants were amazing and the lavender cappuccino was delicious. Day 2, we went back again, for more food and coffee. Day 3, on our 4 year vegan anniversary, we had take away and sat next to the river. The 'not egg' was a wonderfully emotional treat as I felt I could enjoy the egg flavours without any cruelty. Food is all reasonably priced and the service was brill. Thank you so much for the food and drinks Hempies. If we visit again, we will be back.

I went there starving on a Sunday and tasted their “flammkuchen” sandwich and their chocolate croissant. Both were amazing. I paid 12€ in total for all of this & a coffee, super good value for money. The place is super cute and the staff was friendly
