Das 1987 gegründete und in Haidhausen ansässige Haus der Eigenarbeit ist ein Bürgerzentrum mit professionell ausgestatteten Werkstätten, die von allen Bürgerinnen und Bürgern (Anfänger oder Könner) genutzt werden können, um eigene Projekte umzusetzen.
