A Hidden Flower in Munich – The Best Japanese Food I’ve Had in Europe Hands down, this is the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever experienced in Europe—and that’s saying something, given the time I’ve spent living, working, and eating my way through Japan. Run entirely by a single master chef, the place offers a level of quality and attention to detail that, in Japan, would usually require weeks of advance booking. Every dish I tried today was simply exceptional—balanced, precise, and full of heart. You can truly feel the chef’s love and respect for the food, and how generously that love is shared with every customer. Despite the rain on this Thursday afternoon, the restaurant was packed. I saw locals picking up pre-ordered meals, and others, without a reservation, patiently strolling around the neighborhood waiting for their turn. No complaints—just quiet joy and anticipation. If you're ever in Munich and skip this place, you might just regret it for three-quarters of your life.

Probably one of the best sushi places you can find in Munich. It’s a small shop with a few tables, but the staff is friendly and the ingredients very fresh and rich in flavor. Our food was made to order and only took about 10 min to be prepared. They currently only do takeout due to the pandemic.

This is a really nice location to get some delicious sushi. The lady who owns the shop, runs it by herself and also makes all the sushi herself. They have fresh ingredients and it really tastes great. One of the best sushi I ever had in Munich! They are also open during lunch times and have outside seating available.

It is a one man (woman) show. She is very friendly and working hard. We went there in the evening when almost all seats were occupied. It has around 16 seats. She is preparing the sushi with lots of love. It will take some time for you to get the food, but it is worth it. We enjoyed it so much. It is fresh and delicious! We will come again. Prices are OK.
