About Greenwichpromenade

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Visited Greenwich Promenade in early September and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, plenty of trees, and a beautiful view over Tegeler See. It’s a great place to relax, take a walk, or simply sit by the water. It’s also family-friendly, with ducks and swans on the lake that children will enjoy watching. You can also take a boat cruise from the promenade if you want to see more of the area. It's mostly flat and easy to walk, with no complicated stairs or entrance arrangements. The open waterfront also makes it great for photos, definitely a nice spot to escape the busy city for a while.

it is really beautiful place for watching , I was with my family there we really enjoyed the day and after walking we going to one Persian restaurant near Alt Tegel , in Markthalle Tegel found the one Persian restaurant the name was Prince of Persia restaurant , because one of my family is gone we don't have any choice in Persian foods, but you can find the vegan on vegetarian foods in this restaurant. I think Tegel is the best of the area in berlin.

A beautiful place by the waterfront. Has a children's play area, lots of walking paths, greenery, paddle boat renting and small restaurants. You can even go for a boat ride from here. The lake looks pretty dotted with white sail boats, ducks and swans. Perfect place for a family picnic. Named after a small village in England this place too has a British feel to it.
