About Gazzo

Sourdough pizza restaurant using good-karma products. Open for dine-in and take-out

Located at Hobrechtstraße 57, 12047 Berlin, Gazzo operates as an italienisch serving Berlin in Berlin. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Gazzo on 030 98370104; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is gazzopizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 3,770 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italienisch & pizza in Berlin.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. For directions in Berlin, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

i just had one of the best pizzas. and i LOVE that they have vegan options that don’t just leave out the cheese. (their vegan cheese alternative is actually GOOD!) i had the nr 7 in vegan and it was damn delicious! zucchini and lemon! what a delightful combination! they also have natural wines 😍🍷 so i was pleased on all levels - will be back 🫶🏻

Gastronomic concepts like Gazzo are one of the reasons this city is still the best place in Germany to experience excellent food. Gazzo never disappoints. The sourdough pizza is one of the best in town with fresh, mostly locally sourced ingredients. Do yourself a favour and give it a try even if you don‘t live in Neukölln. The soft serve is also great and Gazzo was a first mover in Berlin to combine soft serve with olive oil and sea salt. I love this combo and the fact the soft serve is made of buffalo milk which makes it extra creamy.

They offer a wide variety of sourdough pizzas. The restaurant has an artsy alternative vibe to it. Groups have to pay as one and not separately, which I found a bit strange. Other than that we had a good time. The pizza was delicious!

Great pizza and really good drinks. We were there about 40 minutes—half of that just waiting for the pizza—but the staff felt a bit pushy. Pizza number 5 didn’t have enough cheese, as you can see in the photo. Food was excellent overall, though the service could’ve been more relaxed.

Probably the best thin crust pizza in Berlin! Perhaps a MUST GO if you are looking for a Berliner experience AND pizza. An excellent dough, delicious tomato sauce, top ingredients and a super hot oven make this as perfect a pizza as you will get outside of Italy. Their soft ice cream combinations, I.e. with olive oil, salt and shortbread are surprising and outstanding! The location and the vibes of the place make the Berlin experience complete. Very friendly and efficient service and a large terrace seating make for a top guest experience.
