For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12–8 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 21667816. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, garibaldi.de.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 150 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded weinbars, weinstuben & vinotheken in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

My boyfriend and I stopped to get a glass of wine and the wine, the service, as well as the selection were all super great 👌. It's a nice shop and the wines seem to be selected with care.

Really disappointed, I was expecting much more. Wines stored poorly, the shop was so hot. (wines stored standing up, there would be cork issues) Wines average standard for across Europe... Wine by the glass, really poor options, no explanation of wine or origin.. pournings were small. 15€ for 2 small glasses of Primativo... Didn't get anything from going..

Huge selection of wines. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining to us the different variations of German Rieslings. I had a wine flight menu for 15 EUR, 3 glasses of wines (bubble, white, and red). Had a pleasant exchange with the staff on German vs French wines. Highly recommended if you want to learn more about German vinology.

Amazing place, personalized generous collection of German and other wines, for everyone's price range and service is immaculate, I have entered the store 5 min. before closing and the owner still took their time to present wines they thought I would be interested in beyond closing time. I will be going to it again when I come back to Munich, highly recommended. 10/10

This is a nice tucked away wine shop in the center. It also feels as if you weren't stumbling through the small alleys beyond the busy streets you wouldn't find it. Which adds to its charm. It is a small shop that seems to specialize in Italian, German, and French wines. Due to this, it would be difficult to find other variety of grapes or regions here. So for example, they didn't have any wine from Georgia or Armenia. Though what they did have was a nice selection, and you wouldn't be wrong to go here to find something that fits your palate. The sellers are very nice and accommodating to amateurs to experts. The prices are slightly above what you could find elsewhere, but I think the small premium that you are paying is the location, expertise of the sellers, and the ability to get more rare variants. Which are all justifiable. I will sure to recommend or come back for the needs of finding a wine from Germany and France. :)
