Sehr schade. Ich habe versucht, eine Buchung für eine junge Familie vorzunehmen. Das Kind wird im Klinikum in der Nähe operiert und die Eltern wollten in der Nähe übernachten. Die Buchung wurde verweigert, weil die Gäste nur wenig Deutsch sprechen und Polnisch sind. Ja - es wurde nach der Nationalität gefragt. Das würde man nicht mehr mitmachen, die Gäste müssen sich benehmen können. Ich erhielt nicht mal eine Möglichkeit auszusprechen, dass die Eltern in der Nähe des Kindes sein wollen und es keine Monteure sind, die die ganze Nacht durchfeiern würden. Es wurde einfach aufgelegt. Rassistisch und voreingenommen. Menschlich auch eine Null. Ein Kind soll operiert werden, die Eltern wären nur zum Duschen und schlafen da und das letzte worum wir uns kümmern wollten, war eine lange Unterkunftssuche. Ich arbeite nicht für eine Vermittlungsagentur, was hier behauptet wird! Ich habe für meine EIGENE Familie angerufen, genauer gesagt für meinen Cousin, seine Frau und ihren schwer kranken Sohn. Das ist doch verständlich, dass sich Familienmitglieder in solchen Situationen unterstützen. Bevor man auflegt, sollte man den Anrufer vielleicht aussprechen lassen. Zum Glück haben wir einen Tag

The Hubmanns are delightful hosts. Their guesthouse is the only place we stay in Munich, and we have tried all the apartments and found each excellent. The property is lovely, especially the garden, and the underground is less than a five minute walk away (Wettersteinplatz). We look forward to enjoying their hospitality again.

Gabriele and Josef are excellent hosts - they know their business well. All details of booking communications were clear and when we arrived we had a warm welcome from both of them. The apartments they have to rent (individually self-contained in their large and beautiful home) have all details taken care of - even down to umbrellas and shoe horns! Myself and my friend were super comfortable in our beds (high standard matteresses and cotton linen) and we were very happy cooking every day in our fully equipped kitchen. I was in Munich for 10 days for dental surgery and this was an excellent choice of stay - quiet, clean, comfortable and cosy (the central heating kept us warm throughout the day) and Gabriele or Josef were always there if needed. On the doorstep is a beautiful riverside tree lined walk and Wettersteinplatz underground station, a supermarket and a healthfood shop are all only 5 mins away. Very nice part of Munich to stay in and only a 10min underground journey into the centre of town (old town). I would not hesitate to recommend the Hubmanns accommodations.
