München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I don't found my keys...

Pro: The Security lady who denied entry due to the corona restrictions was very friendly. She gave me a slip with the email address to get an appointment to get access to their depot ("safe"). Con: I wrote an email and received an auto-reply that processing requests for appointments takes some time. That was one week ago. Sorry. Making appointments can't take that long. If there are no slots, well then the appointments are far in the future. But no scheduling is completely unprofessional. German bureaucracy and unwillingness for efficiency and efforts - I guess.

Limited covid availability (grocery stores seem to be handling business fine) on top of their already strange, and rather limited schedule. Visits by phone or email appt only. Don't expect anything quickly from them, you will likely be turned away without an appointment. Polezei will tell you incorrect information about process for reclaiming or recovering lost property. Expect at least 5-10 business days minimum. Staff is nice but strict in regards to German bureaucracy methods and procedures.

The people working here are an absolute delight. Incredibly helpful, excellent English and very sympathetic. The kind of place you would go back to with a cake, just to say thanks
