Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 34 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded museen & galerien in Würzburg.
Würzburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Würzburg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Interesting museum the ground floor covers the history of the castle and all the signs are in English, the top floor is on the history of Würzburg and none of the signs are in English, but nevertheless the items were very interesting.
