Friedberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Einfach toll!

This is a really great place. There is part with beach, playground, small kiosk with food, toilet and showers, but also part with watersport. Highly recommended it

It's a very beautiful place and just hopefully still will be as it was the last time I visited. I remember 15 years ago and mostly German people from the surrounding area made it great 👍. If it doesn't have a similar feeling I will boycott it. I can't control myself when I see injustice happening or disrespectful to the young girls. I just blow Up and in the past it was great. Sadly Augsburg which is near us has become a much worse city and you can't let young women walk home alone as it was 10 years ago, even 8 years ago. It's sad. Poor Augsburger German people pay more for everything because the city is overflowing and Rent is unfairly High. Hopefully people will go back to their countries as soon things improve. Then it will be a great relief. We didn't want it, the EU that will hopefully be gone soon dictates everything. No freedom.
