We liked museum very much. Its big plus is a lot of text explanations about what we see. Visitors can easily discover how Schwabs lived 100-200 years ago. A lot of things can be touched and you can even try clothes of that epoch) Animals can be interesting for kids. We also tried old food as that was a day, when museum workers cook in a real museum stoves.

Amazing experience. Its great to see things from ancient history in actual and to see how we have constantly moved towards technological advancement. Great place to visit on a sunny day. For children age group 10-14 years (study purpose) as well as small kids (to be close to nature and various animals).

One of the best open air museums we have been to. Good reconstruction of an ancient life, a hard one to be honest. Don't miss to show this your kids. There are enough parking facilities and the ways are good prepared so you can easily go there with children. They have interesting tours and events, animals and also one movie prop from a movie called 'Krabat'.
