Service businesses like this one usually respond fastest by phone or e-mail, and good tradespeople are booked out weeks ahead, so plan early. Be specific about the location, the scope of work and any deadline, and keep a record of what was agreed. Taking three quotes before you decide is normal. Professional firms such as lawyers, notaries and tax advisors (Steuerberater) work from statutory fee schedules, so ask for an estimate of the total up front.

Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Stefan and his team are highly professional and very committed. In a time frame of 8 months, I used their services for the second time. His team alway gave the best and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Franken Umzug Team for relocation and any other tasks which they take up. All the best Stefan and Team

Stefan and his team were professional, fast, efficient and careful from start to finish. Stefan offered to come by to assess the costs and need for boxes, was very friendly and confidence inspiring. Everything unfolded on time, as planned. And when the window lift they wanted to install did not work (because of our electrical issues, the device is fine), they did not hesitate and proceeded to carry everything down three flights of stairs without a complaint or a change in the agreed price. I highly recommend them.
