About Fahrschule Stefan Stich

Fahrschule Stefan Stich is a fahrschulen in Nürnberg, Bayern. It is listed at Sieben Zeilen 42, 90403 Nürnberg, which places it among the local businesses of Nürnberg that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Cars in Germany need the main inspection (Hauptuntersuchung, by TÜV or DEKRA) every two years, and a workshop that handles it for you is worth keeping in your contacts. Ask for an itemised estimate before work starts, check whether the price includes labour and VAT, and ask whether original or aftermarket parts are used. A Vertragswerkstatt costs more than an independent workshop but keeps the manufacturer's warranty intact, and winter tyres are required whenever conditions are wintry.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 6:30–7 pm. It is closed on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0171 3655569. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is gassnerundstich.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 328 reviews, which is a strong result for a fahrschulen in Nürnberg and suggests consistent service.

Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The school is in good location and the price is fine. But don't take a lesson with Thomas, quite unpolite person and always tries to get with you more hours, keeping the same things unless you insist to do something different.

A couple of months ago, I had a firm belief that if I get a license, it would be nothing but a miracle. Thomas had been my instructor and was extremely helpful, patient and reassuring throughout my lessons. I kid you not when I say that I started as the worst novice possible with a terrible anxiety of other traffic around me. I had to look at the gears to see which one the car was currently in, steering wheel hand-placement was terrible, successfully killed the engine on almost every traffic light - and Thomas got rid of all of this in the first couple of lessons. He helped me a lot by giving different tips, ways to deal with issues step-by-step and was always very repetitive and rigorous so that the information would actually be embedded in my brain. It was mostly his hard-work in training me that I passed my exam yesterday - 4 months after I started my first driving lesson. I can say this for sure, this school trains you thoroughly and do not miss out anything - which helps you anticipate every situation that could occur in the exam. Overall, it is a great school with friendly instructors. I can only recommend that one gets their training here. :) Ryshum.

I did my driving practice and exam with Thorsten and I couldn't be more grateful. He was very patient and nice, even with my very basic German language skills he explained to me everything very clearly and made me feel comfortable and secure driving. His tips were super useful in the test and help me to approve in my first intent. Thanks!

I have deleted my previous review ONLY because I have no wish for it to be a permanent mark upon your business. This comment will stand however, because you did not apologise for the actions of your instructor, instead you complained about your reputation, and showed little regard for my concerns. Your reputation is down to you, and your actions.
