Located at Breisacher Str. 13, 81667 München-Au-Haidhausen, Erbil's Vegan & Mediterran operates as a vegetarisch serving München in Bayern. For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 32747807. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is erbils-vegan.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 2,407 reviews, which is a strong result for a vegetarisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Fully vegan restaurant, everything looked so tasty! Honestly I would just wanna try everything in this restaurant. My friend and I ordered an appetizer dish with 5 toppings for 11,90€. And she a döner and I a dürüm. We were so satisfied and full. The cook was so nice and talkative, but I wish the server were more welcoming and smiley. Would definitely come again and recommend for good food.

Great place for simple home cooked food. I had the tofu schnitzel plate and a cheesecake. The schnitzel was good and served with a verity of salads. The cake was awesome, worth coming back to get another one. It’s a simple non fancy family place, self service.

Erbil is a nice place to enjoy a quick and tasty bite. I ordered the Seitan Döner durum with tzatziki and ginger/turmeric sauce. The combination was lovely but I felt the Seitan was still very oily. The falafel was definitely better. You can choose from different sauces so there is something for everyone.

Stumbled upon Erbil's and wow, what a find! All vegan, all good, all made with love! I ordered the mousaka, schnitzel, and baklava. So good! There are so many options it's really difficult to choose! It's close to the Munich East train station (5 min walk). Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely go there again!

Heaven for vegans and lactose intolerant people! Erbils is truly all vegan, which makes for an amazing culinary experience. It looks like your regular local Döner shop, which it is I guess. But all vegan! All the delicious treats you can Expect at other Döner shops you will get here, but as the vegan non dairy alternative. I had the vegan Döner which was a delight, but my highlight was in the vegan ayran. I can’t drink the regular ayran at other shops due to my lactose intolerance- so I was more than happy to be able to order one here! Will come here again, because the staff is amazing- I almost forgot to say! Very friendly people indeed!
