Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Eisinsel Trudering - Die Eismacher on 089 424035; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is m.facebook.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 715 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Really cool place to have different kind of ice creams and sweats. At the corner so easily reachable. Quality and quantity both are always satisfied.

Like some other people mentioned the ice cream is really below average. Artifical taste and generally more sugar than cream. A real shame because the location is otherwise quite nice. Tried it twice, will not go back 😕

Wow. € 2,20/scoop for well-below average quality. Artificial icecream for Germans that don't know any better. I will not be back.

Delicious ice-cream. Very friendly service. Was thrilled to taste a lovely deca macchiato like they do in Italy. You can also have a Spritz Aperol after the ice-cream or instead of the ice-cream. We went there almost every night during our stay in Trudering and I would highly recommend this ice cream place to anyone visiting the area.

Ice creams are not up to expectations! No consistency of taste in Ice cream. Really need improvement. It tastes different every time. Best place to have perfect Italian coffee with few cake options.
