A truly exceptional experience far beyond standard service. Only three days before my planned departure to the UK, my original language school unexpectedly cancelled my booking. It was a stressful and chaotic moment. When I reached out to EF, Ms. Lara Hoffmann took my case on immediately and what happened next was nothing short of outstanding. She personally coordinated everything: the school placement, accommodation, confirmations, and all administrative steps. And she did all of that within just a few hours, on the very last working day before a public holiday in Germany. She stayed beyond her regular hours, followed up proactively, and made sure that every detail was settled the same evening. What impressed me most was her genuine commitment. She didn’t treat me like just another enquiry, she showed real empathy, urgency, and responsibility. Thanks to her extraordinary dedication, I was able to start my programme as planned, even though the situation seemed almost impossible to fix. At first I wasn’t really willing to go to a summer school, but I quickly realised that it would be one of my favourite moments of the year. Making new friends, the activities (and even the new evening activities we got to play, because at first they were boring) and the atmosphere were all 💯. I would highly recommend EF to teens (13-16) because this is an experience NOT to be missed!

I had a terrific home stay. The family was wonderful and helped my language development. The classes were good. I had some very good instructors. The city of Munich is absolutely incredible! I can’t wait to come back!

I went on exchange with EF as part of the class of 22 and it surely was one of the best years of my life!! I got to stay with an awesome host family and live the life I had always dreamed of. EF supported me throughout my entire journey and provided me with all the support I needed. I got to grow as a person and became a lot more independent. Thank you EF for making this possible and giving me so many unforgettable memories!! 🫶🏼 I can definitely recommend EF to anyone that is thinking about doing an exchange year and wants to have the best time of their lives!!
