Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–12 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Outstanding professional and a wonderful person. She responded immediately to our dog’s emergency, made a quick and accurate diagnosis, explained the treatment in detail, and gave us clear home-care instructions. The next day she followed up to check on his progress. Clean clinic, reasonable fees, and genuine care. I recommend her without hesitation.

Dr. Hollmann is always open to discuss what I'm doing right with my presumed Jack-Chi, and where I can improve. My Mascha has a lot of anxiety, coming from the streets, but Dr. Hollmann and their associates were quick to win her over and make her feel as comfortable as possible while she visited.

After taking my cat to his regular veterinarian and giving him the wrong diagnosis, I decided to try Dr. Hollmann. I am very happy I made that decision. She worried a lot about Winnie and about him getting better. I can only thank you and recommend her to everyone. I understand perfectly why there are always so many people at his veterinary clinic, she is the best. Thanks

Ms Hollmann is a professional, taking her job seriously and treating animals with care. Price wise i can’t say if it’s expensive or not since i don’t visit other vets too often. She speaks perfect english so communication for foreigners won’t be a problem. she’s helped my pet get her european pass, since my cat is from turkey, and to process the documents needed to enter germany again (blood test and vaccines)
