For directions in Berlin, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

A fantastic museum! Very interesting displays and information. Multimedia and engaging. All information is in German and English. Fun for all ages. We even got to make customised bookmarks in a Gutenberg printing press!

Visually nice small "museum" of Germany. Gives a snapshot of the main historical events that shaped Germany. More like an exposé than a museum. But cool anyway. More suitable and interesting for children and teenagers. The lady at the ticket purchase was passive aggressive right at the museum opening.

An interesting museum about the history of Germany from Roman times until reunification in the 1990s, interesting enough for adults but aimed mainly at children with loads of interactive and animated exhibits. All text was in both German and English. Best museum in Europe? I don't think so, but for the price it's worth a visit if you have a few hours to kill and are nearby

The Deutschlandmuseum is an immersive, interactive museum about the history of Germany. Visitors walk through twelve rooms, from a forest to a medieval castle to the trenches of WWI, then WWII until the fall of the Berlin wall. Each room feels like being in a movie set. There are large interactive maps as well as multiple choice quizzes. A fun and educational experience for children and adults.

Buying tickets online is cheaper than at the kiosk. The tickets are valid for a 15 minutes period. So the one purchased for 1130 will let you go through till 1145. Also make sure to retain the tickets since they are needed for exiting. The museum is amazing and highly interactive. It is good fun to do the quizzes and puzzles on the way. Highly recommend for kids and adults for a full journey of Germany.
