Calming streets to walk into

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon exploring the Goldschmiedehaus. While I was in Hanau for other reasons, I was so excited to be able to add this into my visit as the beautiful building exterior is painted on a mural in my home city! The work on display was lovely. The staff were kind and informative. In addition, the museum was quite lively with children doing a workshop in the basement while I was visiting. Their obvious enjoyment of the work made the visit even more pleasant. What a jewel of a museum!

Kind of fell flat for us, we were here on a Sunday. 5 floors and each has a few things on display. No entry cost, just donation. Beautiful pieces on each floor displayed. Elevator is easily accessible.
