Banks, insurers and money services in Germany are tightly regulated, but products differ in fees, rates and paperwork. Bring your passport or ID card and your Anmeldung certificate to open a Girokonto, ask for the total cost including account fees, and keep every statement. Branches keep weekday hours only, often with a lunch break and one late afternoon; ATMs (Geldautomaten) within your own bank's group, whether Sparkassen, Volksbanken or the Cash Group, are free, while others may charge a fee.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 6 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Deutsche Bank SB-Stelle on 069 91010000; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, deutsche-bank.de.

Ingolstadt is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Update: Es wurden neue Automaten bereitgestellt, welche nun zuverlässig funktionieren. Zu 95% außer Dienst. Nicht empfehlenswert. Technische Wartung hin oder her.

its a nice place and it works but the card reader kinda looks weird. It also wasnt on there that well, I heared about card skimming and am generelly pretty careful. But I thought in Ingolstadt, at an indoor Atm nobody would try to steal card numbers. After I was done with my stuff and went home I got a spoofing sms from "Deutsche Bank" with a link in it and that I should do something on my Deutsche Bank account. I instantly knew something was wrong because I don't even have a deutsche bank card but a Comdirect card. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ATM AT THIS LOCATION.
