Excellent burgers!! Happened across this restaurant while exploring Ingolstadt and was blown away at how good they were! When we walked in the place was empty but was fully booked with reservations. We we able to get a table because we eat quick and wouldn't hold it up. Service was spot on awesome and the food was even better! I would definitely eat here again!!

A burger-specialized restaurant in an old house of Ingolstadt. You have to come and try, as they cook the burger 🍔 in the way you may never tasted before. The PiriPiri Chicken Burger I had was fantastic, the chicken is perfectly grilled and tender, most importantly the chili sauce was amazing, plus the bread (believe they made it themselves), definitely a must go if you're in Ingolstadt. As to the fact that Der Postwagen is situated in an old building, this little bit of good conflicts just make the vibe a lot more appealing.

Der Postwagen offers a delightful dining experience in Ingolstadt. The ambience is cozy and inviting, with a modern yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The burger was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with their signature sauces. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with a delicious Gewürzmayo dip that added an extra layer of flavor. It’s evident that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, contributing to the overall taste and presentation of the dishes.   The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was pleasant from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the wait time for our food, which was slightly longer than expected. However, considering the quality and freshness of the meals, it’s understandable and didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience. The burgers tasted amaaaazing 👌🏻 the fries are super yummy and the sauces too .The service was friendly as well. I don‘t like the fact that we actually waited 40min to get our food. That‘s the only minus i‘d like them to improve. Overall, it‘s worth it.

Der Postwagen has the best burgers I've ever had in my life! My brother lives in Ingolstadt and whenever we visit him - we go get burgers here. This weekend, we only had two evenings to plan and we decided to have burgers here on both evenings. Best decision ever!! I can recommend the chili cheese burger and the sweet potato pommes with the Gewürzmayo dip with all my heart! The staff is also extremely friendly and the cocktails are delicious. Definitely a must visit if you're ever in the area!
