Studied here and can definitely say it was one of the best decisions in my life. It's awesome to be surrounded by so many likeminded, ambitious and talented people + the incredible network of entrepreneurs, investors and companies that CODE offers.

I honestly had a very frustrating experience with CODE University. What confused me the most is how inconsistent the whole process was. At first, they told me I do not meet the entry requirements set by the German Ministry of Education which already didn’t make sense to me, because I have been accepted into two German public universities to study engineering. Then, not long after, they invited me to a fast-track interview, told me I did really well, gave me positive feedback, and in the end rejected me again with no clear explanation. When I asked them for the reason behind the rejection, they did not respond at all. As an applicant, this felt very disappointing. I invested my time, effort, and hopes into this process, only to be left with mixed messages and no transparency. It gave me false hope and wasted my energy. Universities should respect applicants and communicate clearly from the start. My experience with CODE left me feeling misled and disrespected, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go through the same frustration until they fix how they handle admissions.

I’m incredibly glad I chose to study Interaction Design at this university and graduated with my B.A. The sense of community here is unbelievable—I’ve met so many lifelong friends. Not only did my time here have a huge impact on my personal life, but it also set me up for success in my career. I had the chance to work on various projects during my studies, which made finding a full-time job afterward very manageable. The professors are fantastic. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from the industry and are always willing to support you. The campus itself is really cozy and a great place to learn. I loved the project-based learning approach and the focus on curiosity, which kept me motivated throughout my studies. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid design education and a great university experience!

The good: You are actually learning from real life projects, companies and are applying your skills every day. No theory, no paper based examinations. Most of my cohort has found work or started their own startups because CODE offered all the support needed to achieve this by their second year. The Bad: It's a young university so sometimes you feel lost and some of the systems in place are not fully functional. Every year things are always changing sometimes for the better sometimes for the worst. As well sometimes the curriculum can be a bit vague. But these issues are easily overcome once you get used to it. Overall: I've been to two universities already and from what I have experienced at CODE is unlike anything else other universities I have been to. And honnestly I wish I started here instead wasting 4 years of my life learning theory and not really getting ahead in life. Despite it issues it does what it promised very well and should be commended for that
