For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Amazing pastries. The place is quite small - perfect for a little break from the city. I haven't try the famous Éclairs but I had a delicious parisian vanilla flan. That was delicious. 100% recommend!

The eclairs were great but it felt like they lacked something, though the cardamon bun and pistachio croissant were amazing - very buttery and flaky! The coffee was also very good and the staff was nice and welcoming - truly a very warm experience 🥰

A tiny place with a few tables, we had the black current pastry, and coconut praline eclair - both were surprising and made very well, delicious However please notice that they don’t serve iced drinks in winter or ice cream

Had the blackcurrant filled pastry it was really good. The flavors were well balanced and the pastry was fresh and flaky. Presentation was absolutely top notch. Their éclairs also looked stunning and definitely caught my eye.

Nice place for a break, eve if the pastries offer was limited to 6 kinds of eclair and few pieces of viennoiserie. So we took a raspberry and oolong eclair and a lemon and blackberry one, which were both ok, and two cup of ok-ish coffee. Personnel was welcoming but not supernice, ambience cool and essencial. The bottom line is for what you pay in Berlin you have a better choice, even in the surroundings, but the overall experience was fine.
