Modern camping site which could get really busy in high season (Baches). Fortunately we had a good and pretty private tent pitch and enjoyed the area. Facilities near the entrance are the top quality, very clean and modern. Local shops is neat. Online check-in / check out process at the kiosk - located at the main entrance is pretty good. Nice swim able clean lake is a joy in hot summer days and the sunset atmosphere was also remarkable while we spent a couple of nights there.

We booked our stay at Campingplatz Pilsensee over three months ago and enjoyed it so much that we’ve already planned another visit in a few weeks. Our pitch was perfect—right on the bank with stunning views of the lake, making it a truly memorable spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent, with everything you could need, from a restaurant to a small shop. The toilets and showers deserve a special mention—they are absolutely fantastic and easily among the best we’ve experienced at any campsite. The location is ideal for enjoying the lake and its surroundings, and overall, it’s a 5-star experience for us. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. My only negative is the wifi, which is total pants. It is really letting the site down. Please guys, get a second line in and give us a few meg download, is it to much to ask

Amazing accessible and CLEAN campsite next to a small lake. Lovely members of staff (except that they took the string I put on the door of the toilet to close it away all the time 😉) There is a ramp access to the lake, the disabled facilities are thought through and perfect all in all. Only - I can recommend an outdoor wheelchair (having a triride myself) as most is grass or gravel to drive on. The lake is lovely and due to being very shallow WARM! Boats are not allowed which makes it save and pleasant to be in the water. SUPs and little dinghies are allowed. If you have your own boat, the sailing club next to the campsite is very accommodating and helpful 😁 We definitely will be coming back 😁
