A nice campsite with some very nice and welcoming staff there is some noice from airplanes from Berlin, but the place is nice and with a lot of local seasonal campers and a system where you pay what you use of water by a token that you account upon leasing the site.

I went there with my daughter for a short spontaneous weekend trip. The staff was very friendly, and accepted my broken German :). Camping is clean and rather peaceful. But yes you hear planes, but not at night (Berlin airport is not operating in the middle of the night) The public beach is super close, and you can find nice restaurants nearby. We will visit again

Avoid! A beautiful place, sadly the campsite operators especially the older man are very rude. We had barely been there more than 5 minutes and the man was driving away on his golf cart yelling at us impatiently to follow him, while his wife was still trying complete our registration. The price to camp depends on the size of your tent. But they will not let you say the size, they insist on seeing your tent for themselves. A guest was with us to hang out at the beach nect door. The operators insisted that the guest pay a half day fee, incase he were to use their bathrooms. Others says these people are warm and kind, I can’t imagine that. They made us feel like criminals. All of that, and then of course, there was a group of people playing electronic music on a loud speaker from 11 pm until 7 am. Not family friendly. We’re never coming back.

Great campsite right next to Flakensee, very friendly staff. They have a lot of rules but overall a relaxed and great option for a quick weekend getaway from Berlin in the summer.

Not perfect, but definitely very good and hospitable. We were helped by very nice staff, two ladies, an older one and somewhat younger one, of which the last was very happy all the time. Everything works with an electronic 'transponder' (opening doors, getting water, doing dishes, showers, etc). Some things are free other cost some money. You get €5 for free on it which we weren't able to spend in 3 days. Regular use doesn't bring you over that, but I guess washing costs a bit more for example. Cheap camping for us with a car and large tent (about €20). The food nearby is quite good (try Liebesquelle for good food for example: outside there is good, inside not the best environment inside though). Camping is quite noisy because of airplanes. Take earplugs :). Last but not least: there's a beach right next to the camping ground for swimming and bathing. (1 min walk)
