We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the excellent new outdoor swimming pool, the charming old town, the local wine, and above all, this exceptionally well-managed campsite. Many Danish visitors use campsites near the A7 as convenient stopovers on their way to or from Southern Europe, but this campsite deserves more than just a one-night stay. It is a lovely place to pause, relax, and enjoy the surroundings before continuing your journey.

Stayed one night. Arrived with bicycle. New build with quite nice showers. Tent camping area has one place with 5 outlets to charge phones for the entire tent camping area. No picnic tables and very little shade or areas to sit out of the sun or rain. The entire focus of this campground is vehicle campers, unfortunately no other tent camping is available in this area. When every bike touring person needs electricity to charge devices and an area to enjoy the campground, this business is missing a big opportunity!

Great camping place. Locatuon close to the City of Volkach, with exzellent wie bars and restaurants. Lots of outdoor activities and sight seeing.

I was not meant to be staying here, but on a Sunday ride on the wonderful Mainschleifenbahn, it looked like a nice place to camp overnight with my motorbike & swim in the Main. Excellent facilities & staff and a nice walk into Volkach for food, wine & ice cream.

Very nice campsite owners and amazing toilet block which is well kept. You have to pay to use the showers. It's a 5 minute cycle away from a very nice village with shops and restaurants.
