Schorsch – der besondere Bücherschrank in der Zellerau In der Zellerau steht nicht der klassische Bücherschrank den man bereits aus anderen Stadtteilen kennt. Die Zellerau hat Schorsch, den besonderen Bücherschrank in Form eines Wals. In Schorsch können Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner nicht mehr benötigte Bücher, die noch in gutem Zustand und lesenswert sind, ablegen. Interessierte an Lesestoff jeder Sparte und für jedes Alter können sich bei den vorhandenen Büchern bedienen und sie mit nach Hause nehmen. Das alles kostenlos. Weil der Grundschnitt des Stadtteils Zellerau einem Wal gleicht wurde diese außergewöhnliche Form gewählt und von dem Metallkünstler Georg Weidauer umgesetzt. Praktischerweise wurde der Bücherschrank mit einer Sitzbank kombiniert, so dass man gleich vor Ort ein wenig schmökern kann…
