Hübscher Brunnen, der eine Waage mit Gewichten darstellt. Der Brunnen am Waagplatz wurde vom Fürther Steinmetz Heinz Siebenkäss im Jahr 1985 geschaffen und soll an die ehemalige Funktion des Platzes erinnern, auf dem die Stadtwaage stand. Deshalb schuf der Steinmetz auch Steinskulpturen in Form von Einzelgewichten für Waagen, die wie zufällig auf dem Platz drapiert wurden. Schöne Idee!

Ein kleiner Brunnen der im Sommer als Hunde- und Taubentränke dient. Ebenfalls eignet dieser sich super für kleine Kinder die ungefragt mit Wasser spielen wollen. Obwohl ich schon sehr oft dort war, ist mir seit kurzen erst aufgefallen, dass die Steine um den Brunnen aussehen wie Gewichte und der Platz auf dem der Brunnen steht Waagplatz heißt. Das ist ein schönes kleine Detail.
