I do not recommend this place. The service was terrible — or rather, there was no service at all. One evening, we came here for dinner. I approached a waiter and asked if there was a table available for us. We were told to sit at any free table. We did, but no one brought us a menu. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I went to the bar and asked if we could place an order. I was told that someone would come to our table shortly. Nobody came. After waiting even longer, I approached the staff again. This time, we were told that we needed to move to a different table where we could be served. We moved to the table they pointed out and waited once again. After quite a long time, a waiter finally came to our table, only to tell us that the kitchen was already closed. So we spent more than half an hour waiting, repeatedly trying to get the staff’s attention and even moving tables, only to find out that we could not be served any food. Thank you for ruining our evening. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

Overall a very good experience. The setup is amazing with plenty of room in and out. We did the Bier tasting set and the gin tasting set. Was very surprised about how good the gins were! Will be back next time I come to Germany to try more of the menu!

The home of Sünner Kölsch brewery out in the east of the city. Nice outside area with efficient, friendly service, the beers are good (Kölsch is rather dull but these are as good as you'll get, Päffgen the only one better IMO). Food was really good, typically large portions of really well cooked plates... No-one does pub food like the Germans (except Czech...). Well worth a quick tram ride out here to sample some beer and food, plus Malzmühle Kölsch is now brewed here as well.

The oldest koelsch brewery in the world and the only distillery in cologne. The food was delicious and the beer is amazing! Very friendly staff and really nice interior. It’s for families and friends one of the best restaurant in town!!!
