This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t even busy:there were plenty of empty tables,yet we were completely ignored for over 30 minutes. Not a single staff member came to greet us, offer menus, or take our order. We politely tried to get the waitress’s attention several times, but she repeatedly pretended not to see us or simply walked away. It genuinely felt like we were being deliberately ignored. To make things even worse, someone brought us a bottle of water that we never ordered. Since no one had spoken to us at all, we assumed it was a complimentary bottle. Later, we were charged for it. We wouldn’t have minded paying if we had actually ordered it—but we didn’t. In fact, nobody ever came to take our order during the entire time we were there. After waiting for over half an hour without any service, we had no choice but to leave. The level of customer service was unacceptable, and this experience was incredibly frustrating. We definitely cannot recommend this place.

We hadn’t been to this place in some time, prior to the name change. I will say this place was the same from the service, the food and the beer! We hope to return prior to leaving Germany!I had already started eating before getting the picture it’s Cordon Bleu yummy!

Very cool and historic place! Nice atmosphere and very solid beer. Worth a visit for dinner and a Bier.

If you are in Regensburg, you should definitely come here. This is a fantastic place that brews its own beer, and you can really taste the quality in every glass. The red ale and helles were especially outstanding, easily one of the best we tried. There is plenty of seating inside, and also nice outdoor areas if you prefer to sit outside. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to spend some time. What stands out most is that you really cannot go wrong with any choice. Every beer we tried was excellent, each with its own character and flavor. If you are in the city, make sure to stop by and try their house brewed beers. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing place in Regensburg, just at the edge of the old town and next to the park. A big public parking garage (St. Peter) is 250m away. The Brauhaus am Schloss looks amazing. The interior is exactly what one imagines how a nice German beer place looks like. It was very clean, too. Even the toilets were in top shape. The service was excellent and very efficient. Big respect to the guy single handling all customers with his friendly but speedy service and keeping a positive attitude. The food was good, not the best Schnitzel I had but good nevertheless. Their beer is good, too. I had the Pils which was indeed refreshing and had a good taste. The costs are elevated, compared to other German restaurants, however here you can be sure everything is top notch (service top, cleanliness top, atmosphere top, good food).
