Normally I prefer to support old, family owned restaurants, that offer regional cuisine. But for the Block House Steak House I make an exception. I know that chain from Munich already and can truly recommend it. It's heaven for steak and wine lovers. I always take the bull soup for starter and the beef filet with veggies, acompanied by a nice class of Malbec. The steak is always at the point, simply delicious.

Everything was excellent! The steak was absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked exactly as I requested, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. It was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. The portion size was very generous, and I really liked that we could choose both the type of potatoes and the sauce to accompany the steak. We were also served a fresh salad before the main course, which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and quick to help whenever we needed anything. We sat indoors, and the atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. The steak here truly speaks for itself. I will definitely be coming back many times and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great steak experience.

We have visited this restaurant three times for business dinners, and every visit has been excellent. If you are visiting Nuremberg and want to enjoy great meat, this is definitely a place you should try. And do not leave without ordering the crème caramel for dessert, it is fantastic.

We are on a side-questing eating lava cakes around the world. Here is our review of lava cake number 19, which we ate here: Date: 01.08.2024 Rating (out of 5): 4 ⭐️ This lava cake had lava! It was very similar to the lava cake we had at Block House in Berlin: really good berry jam, a physalis fruit as decoration, and whipped cream. The one from today, however, also had a scoop of vanilla ice cream - but we in it realized after that we had to pay 2€ extra for it lol.

Found this place while visiting Christmas markets. Service was good and food was really good. Don’t typically order steak, glad I did. Filet was worth it. Fresh salad and skillet veggies. Not the best choice of wines and/or drink menu, but not worth taking off points for.
