Biergarten Michaeligatden is located in Ostpark, right off the walking path. It’s a huge space with beautiful outdoor seating near a pond. The food is typical Bavarian Biergarten fare. 5/5 for beer, 3/5 for food

We were in the Restaurant at the lake in the Ostpark. The food is delicious, and the portions are big enough. The price value level is very good for Munich. The waiters are friendly and fast. When you have wishes different from the menu, they fulfilled them with no extra costs (choice of sides). Excellent place on the terrace at the lake - perfect for the summer time. Also for the groups and celebrations!

Fantastic biergarten in the Munich suburbs, in the middle of a large park with trails, and next to a lake with swans and ducks. Free and easy, very shady, and has a good kids' playground

Biergarten Michaeligarten is a true gem! We used to come here for slow Sunday evenings, watching the sunset, grabbing a beer, and enjoying classic German food. For both the quality and quantity, the prices are very fair. The view over the small Ostpark lake is beautiful — birds gliding across the water and the changing colours of the sunset reflecting on the lake make the atmosphere unforgettable. A perfect spot to unwind.
